FIME students and University staff took part in the events dedicated to the Solidarity Against Terrorism Day
From 3 to 8 September, overseas PRMU FIME student advisors held events dedicated to the Solidarity Against Terrorism Day
The entire cohort of the 2nd and 3rd year FIME students watched a presentation ‘STOP TERRORISM!’ in English. Besides, counteracting the negative impact of the ideology of xenophobia and hatred among young people was discussed; the importance of friendship, respect for each other and mutual assistance was highlighted. The students were reurged to comply with the laws of the Russian Federation, the access control procedures at the university and hostel rules to live by.
On September 6, students from Iraq, Egypt, India, Syria, Uganda, Uzbekistan and other countries, together with the advisors of the Russian language section of the Department of Foreign Languages, Hostel No. 3 supervisor and Head of Security, came out into the street with a STOP TERRORISM slogan and posters.
Eventually, the students from Group 331-F watched Little Raccoon – the good old cartoon – in Russian, learned the song A gloomy day is brighter with a smile, and sang it.
