The virtual reference of the scientific library of PIMU is carried out in the online "question-answer" mode through the VKontakte widget and provides the user with the opportunity: to clarify the availability of the necessary publications in the library, personal logins and passwords for access to electronic resources (it is necessary to specify the number of the library card, full name); to get advice on the library's reference and search apparatus, search in domestic and foreign medical resources, subscription databases of the PIM; find out the terms of return of the issued documents and information about the debt, extend the documents (you must specify the number of the library card, full name, data on the documents, the date of return). The virtual help is open from 10.00 to 18.00 (Saturday, Sunday are days off). At other times, the user can leave a question in the chat so that the library staff can contact him later.
