PRMU Continues in THE Impact Rankings 2025

On June 18, 2025, Privolzhsky Research Medical University was ranked in the THE Impact Rankings 2025. These are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs: SDG 3 Good health and well-being, SDG 4 Quality education, SDG 17 Partnerships for the goals, etc. Universities are ranked across 18 tables: one overall and 17 tables representing each SDG.

PRMU Continues in THE Impact Rankings 2025
According to the latest THE Impact Rankings, PRMU scored highest in SDG 3 Health and well-being to fall within the range above the global average – 401–600 – with 1,788 universities participating (score: 61.5; median: 47.9). The goal addresses all major health priorities: universal health coverage; communicable and non-communicable diseases; reproductive, maternal and child health; and access to safe and effective medicines for all.

Among the top universities worldwide, PRMU landed in the 1,501+ bracket (out of 2,318) sharing positions with Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, Kazan State Medical University, Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University and Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev.

Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University tops the list in Russia (301–400, score: 76.2–79.3), while Western Sydney University in Australia is number one globally for the fourth year in a row.
