Golden League for Teaching Excellence: PRMU in RUR 2025
In June 2025, an update of Round University Ranking, RUR, was released. The ranking saw over 1,200 institutions participate globally.
For 3 successive years, PRMU has featured in the Golden League for teaching excellence:
• 2023 – 152nd (score: 77.786)
• 2024 – 140th (79.158)
• 2025 – 145th (78.758)
The university places 751st out of 1,238 worldwide with a total score of 47.175, and 30th out of 121 countrywise.
Among Russian medical universities, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (586 world/16 Russia) and Sechenov University (692/23, respectively) scored highest. Remarkably, Russian regional universities hit the top five this year: Kursk State Medical University (704/24), Samara State Medical University (730/28), and PRMU (751/30).
