In 2018, Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy (NSMA), known in Russia and abroad, became Privolzhsky Research Medical University (PRMU).

For the first time in almost 100 years of existence, the university has its own clinical base with 450 beds, however it’s difficult to imagine appropriate training of doctors without a proper scientific base.

Placing a bet on the development of digital medicine, 3D printing technologies, biomedicine, neuro-linguistics, fundamental and preventive medicine, we rely on young and proactive personnel.

Biography

Nikolay Nikolayevich Karyakin was born on October 11, 1975 in Kolomna, Moscow region.
In 2000, graduated from Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov with a degree in General Medicine.
Completed his clinical residency (2002) and then postgraduate studies (2005) with a degree in Neurosurgery at Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute named after M.F. Vladimirsky.
Candidate of Sciences thesis: Pneumocephalus: clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment (2005).
Doctoral thesis: Scientific substantiation of ways to improve the effectiveness of medical care management when separating powers between levels of government (2014).
In 2005, graduated from State University of Management with a degree in State and Municipal Management.
In 2015, he completed advanced training in Pedagogy and Psychology in Higher Education; in 2016, passed a course in Management in Healthcare and Public Health.
Member of Public Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region.
Academic degree: Doctor of Science in Medicine
