International students watched One Thousand and One Nights at Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre

On May 19, overseas students from Malaysia, Tanzania and India watched One Thousand and One Nights at Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre.

 
The ballet based on Arabic fairy tales sported a lively mix of wonderful music, bright costumes, and sprightly yet romantic oriental dances. The students were happy to recognize the heroes of familiar fairy tales on the stage of a Russian theatre: Sinbad the Sailor and the evil bird Roc, Aladdin and the beautiful Princess Budur, Ali Baba and the Thieves.
