Another Сode of Nizhny Has Been Discovered by PRMU Foreign Students: City of Interethnic Harmony

On January 29th, a group of foreign residents and students of PRMU mastered the interfaith route which included a visit to Nizhny Novgorod Cathedral Mosque, Roman Catholic Parish of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary and Cathedral of Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky.
Cognitive conversations were held with the imam in the Mosque and Father George in the Catholic church. Students asked various questions.
Alexander Nevsky Cathedral made an incredible impression on foreigners with its grandeur and beauty. Here they learned who Alexander Nevsky was and that this year we will celebrate the 800th anniversary of his birth. In the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, some foreigners put candles and wrote notes for the health of Russian Orthodox friends.
The students came to the following conclusions:
  • All religions of the world contain identical moral laws.
  • It is very important to learn to understand and respect a person of other religious views! When people focus on what unites them, they live in peace and harmony.
