Announcement of the legalization of vaccination certificates

Information about the vaccination of foreign citizens with vaccines registered in the territory of the country of residence can be submitted in the territory of another state only after their respective certification (legalization).
Foreign documents intended for use on the territory of the Russian Federation can be legalized as follows:
1. Consular legalization - documents are certified by consular offices of the Russian Federation in the country of execution of the document;
2. For countries participating in the 1961 Hague Convention, which abolishes the requirement of consular legalization of foreign documents - documents are certified by the submission of a special stamp (Apostille) certifying the authenticity of the signature and position of the official who signed the document.
Therefore, a medical document confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines not registered on the territory of the Russian Federation, intended for use on the territory of Russia, must be legalized in one of the these ways.
