Every FIME student knows that Privolzhsky Research Medical University is located on Minin and Pozharsky Square, but not everyone knows that they are national heroes of Russia.
On January 28th, 2021, foreign students from different countries went on an excursion to the museum of Kuzma Minin in Balakhna to learn about their feat in 1612, when Russians of different faiths and nationalities united to banish their enemies from their native land. "So that's why November 4th is celebrated as National Unity Day!" - the guys guessed.
In addition, the students visited the museum "Plotnikov's House", where they got acquainted with the collection of stuffed animals that lived on the territory of the Balakhninsky district in ancient times, saw objects related to various crafts: salt making, leather and brick production, but most of all the students were delighted with the master classes on weaving lace on bobbins and modeling whistles from clay.
