Article 6.8. Illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues and illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances results in an administrative fine amounting from four to five thousand rubles or an administrative arrest for up to fifteen days.

Article 6.9. Using drugs or psychotropic substances or new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances without a medical prescription results in an administrative fine amounting from four to five thousand rubles or an administrative arrest for up to fifteen days.

Article 6.9.1. Evading: diagnostic testing, taking preventive measures, undergoing drug addiction treatment and (or) medical and (or) social rehabilitation related to the use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a medical prescription or new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances, results in an administrative fine amounting from four thousand to five thousand rubles or an administrative arrest for a period of up to thirty days.

Article 6.13. Propaganda of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors thereof, plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or precursors thereof, and parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or precursors thereof, new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances:

part 1 – results in an administrative fine amounting from four thousand to five thousand rubles imposed on individuals;

part 1.1– using the Internet, an information and communication network:results in an administrative fine amounting from five to thirty thousand rubles imposed on individuals.

Article 10.5.1. Illicit cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or precursors thereof results in an administrative fine amounting from three to five thousand rubles imposed on individuals, or an administrative arrest for up to fifteen days.

Article 20.22, part 2.The use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a medical prescription, new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances or intoxicating substances in the streets, stadiums, parks, pocket parks, in a public transport vehicle, as well as in other public venues, or failure to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official to take medical drug testing by an individual in whose respect there are sufficient grounds to believe that he or she has used narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a medical prescription, new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances or intoxicating substances in the street, a stadium, a park, a pocket park, in a public transport vehicle, as well as in another public venue, results in an administrative fine amounting from four to five thousand rubles or an administrative arrest for up to fifteen days.

Article 20.22. Minors being under the influence of alcohol, as well as their drinking alcohol and alcohol-containing products, or taking drugs or psychotropic substances, new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances or intoxicants, results in an administrative fine amounting from one thousand five hundred to two thousand rubles imposed on the minors’ parents or other legal representatives.

Article 228. Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, transformation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or analogues thereof, as well as illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, are punishable by imprisonment for 10-15 years.

Article 228.1.Illegal manufacture, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or analogues thereof, as well as illegal sale or transfer of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, are punishable by imprisonment for 15-20 years.

Article 229. Stealing or extortion of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, as well as plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, are punishable by imprisonment for 15-20 years.

Article 229.1. The smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursors or analogues thereof, plants containing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors thereof, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors thereof, paraphernalia or tools under special control that are used for making drugs or psychotropic substances, are punishable by imprisonment for 15-20 years.

Article 230. Inducement to use narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or analogues thereof is punishable by imprisonment for 12-15 years.

Article 231. Illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or precursors thereof is punishable by up to 8 years’ imprisonment.

Article 232. Opening or keeping drug dens, or systematic provision of premises for using narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or analogues thereof, is punishable by imprisonment for 3-7 years.
