PRMU international students don’t just explore medicine but also Russian poetry.

On March 27, 2026, students of Faculty of International Medical Education from India showed off their dramatic reading skills and won prizes in the ‘Russian Poetry – music of the soul’ 1st International Phonetic Contest held at the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod.

Deshpande Asmi Amol, Mirajgaonkar Omkar Sanjay – 2nd place, recited Eduard Asadov’s ‘I will love you, may I?’(“Я любить тебя буду, можно?”);

Ingale Aarya Dilip – 2nd place, recited Marina Tsvetaeva’s ‘I love that you are not obsessed with me...’ (“Мне нравится, что вы больны не мной…”);

Nazare Shria – 3rd place, recited Marina Tsvetaeva’s ‘Just yesterday, you met my gaze...’(“Вчера еще в глаза глядел...”);

Pathare Swamini Adeshkumar – 3rd place, recited Alexander Pushkin’s ‘Tatyana's Letter’ (“Письмо Татьяны к Онегину”).
