PRMU Foreign Students Commemorate Legacy of Russian Lexicographer and Doctor, Vladimir Dal

Students of Privolzhsky Research Medical University from Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Syria, and Algeria honoured the most famous foreigner in Russian history, Vladimir I. Dal, who made a valuable contribution to medicine and the Russian language. The doctors-to-be participated in ‘The Legacy of V.I. Dal: From Origins to the Present’ quiz organized by the Department of Russian Language at Orenburg State Medical University. The tasks required a high level of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of the life and work of the famous philologist, linguist, and doctor, as well as a creative approach. The preparation process for this competition has increased not only the academic motivation of foreign students but also their interest in Russian culture.
