PRMU foreign students amazed by Swan Lake performance at local theatre

On May 21, 2026, PRMU foreign and Preparatory Department students from India, Algeria, France, Syria, and Serbia, accompanied by their Russian language professors, went to see Swan Lake at the A.S. Pushkin Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Guests of the country were amazed by P.I. Tchaikovsky’s enchanting music, excellent dance performances, and modern set design. For the majority of students seeing a ballet performance became an unforgettable ‘first date’ with the world of Russian art. After the show, they studied the theatre’s playbill with interest. “We loved the performance, and we surely are going to come back to the theatre!” – proclaimed astounded foreigners.
