Our colleague Marina Shirmanova, Deputy Director of Research, Research Institute of Experimental Oncology and Biomedical Technologies (Privolzhsky Research Medical University), has been awarded the Presidential Prize in Science and Innovation for Young Scientists.
The laboratory that she heads is committed to developing innovative methods for targeted cancer treatment at the junction of physics, biology and medicine.

On February 17, 2021, a decision was made on International Professional Public Accreditation of the following medical educational programs implemented at Privolzhsky Research Medical University:

• three speciality programs – 31.05.01 General Medicine, 31.05.02 Pediatrics, 31.05.03 Dentistry, and
• four residency programs – 31.08.49 Therapy, 31.08.67 Surgery, 31.08.01 Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 31.08.36 Cardiology.

The programs have been accredited by the National Center for Professional Public Accreditation according to the standards and criteria established by the European Standards and Guidelines, ESG, for Quality Assurance of Education and International Standards of World Federation for Medical Education, WFME.
